It is to late to participate in the Kickstarter program we did to finance the creation of the new version. But you can still look at the kickstarter (to see what cool stuff you missed!) Click T&T to see the kickstarter. The kickstarter stays up indefinitely, which is kind of nice, and you can read all about it and watch the video.
Or you can watch the video here. It is the first video posted on my youtube page! Take a look
If you would like to see the list of wonderful people who supported us, or the great retail stores who also supported us (and will be carrying T&T once we get the books printed) click on www.flyingbuffalo.com/deluxetnt.htm.

One of the extras we are creating for the kickstarter is a set of magnets. Here is our artists rendition of them. The "Early Bird" magnet is only for those who supported our kickstarter in the first week. If you want one, you'll have to buy it from one of the kickstarter supporters who is willing to part with it. I will be offering the other four here for sale, after they get here, and after we send them to all the kickstarter supporters who purchased them.
We expect the new version of the game to be available sometime this summer (August 2013 at the latest!)

Meanwhile you can purchase a pdf of the old 4th Edition of T&T from 1977 at
DriveThruRPG
or from E23. They are available there for the old original price of $4!
Or you can also pick up a free pdf of a short version of the T&T 5th edition rules, available at either DriveThru or E23 above. Or you can go to the
Solitaire Adventures
page
and buy one of the pocket sized double solo adventure books. They each include the short version of the rules in the front,
sufficient to play all the solitaire adventures. Or you can buy one of the Free RPG Day booklets mentioned at the bottom of that page.
Solitaire adventures? Yes, in addition to playing this rpg with a group of your friends, T&T is well suited for solo play. We have published many adventures where the book is the gamemaster, and you can play it by yourself with just a pencil and some dice. (Note: our game uses ordinary 6-sided dice, unlike some other, more complicated games.) Click on the link above and read more about the solo adventures.
If you would like some pre-made adventures already written for you, that you can play with a group of your friends, we have a few:
We do plan to make the older versions of the T&T rules available as pdfs in the near future. Watch this space. Or sign up for our mailing list.

(Tunnels & Trolls was written by Ken St Andre) and edited and developed by (and cover art by) Elizabeth Danforth
Plan to come to our Annual T&T Convention in Arizona in July. Click here for information about the convention, and a link to sign up.

NOTE: If you are interested in foreign language (non-English) editions of our T&T or Catalyst books, click here.
If you are considering teaching an RPG to a small child, you might find this pictureamusing.

(To see a color picture of the old box set, and black & white gifs of the solo adventure covers, click here.
Please note: There is no official "6th Edition" of Tunnels & Trolls. None has ever been authorized, nor will one be. T&T is a trademark of Flying Buffalo Inc, and Flying Buffalo and Fiery Dragon are the only people publishing authorized English language editions.
In 1976 Ken St Andre created a variant of T&T called Monsters! Monsters! It is a complete game, where you play the Monsters instead of the heroes. It was originally published by Metagaming, and reprinted by Flying Buffalo. It includes cover and interior art by Liz Danforth. To see the cover, and/or buy a copy, click this link. (No one other than Metagaming or Flying Buffalo has ever been given permission to print this game.)

Although this fantasy role-playing and fiction magazine is no longer being published, we sometimes have back issues available. Each issue has either a short mini-solo adventure for T&T or a short Gamemaster Scenario that can be used with T&T or other fantasy role playing games. There were only 16 different issues, although the last one is numbered 17. Issue 9/10 is a double issue. We currently have plans to reprint these adventures in a new format. Watch this space!

All on your lonesome, you've had enough of sudoku, free roulette and watching TV and you want to play T&T? Well, how about a couple of T&T Solitaire Adventures? The book is the gamemaster, and each can be played many times. The solo adventures listed here are coded for difficulty, number & type of characters permitted within. "War" means warrior; "Wiz" means magic-user; "any" means any character class allowed (warrior, wizard, or rogue). "L1-3" means it is for 1st through 3rd level characters. "MM" means Magic Matrix is included. [Note: Missing numbers are out of print. Please don’t ask us for them. We suggest you check stores that sell used games, or try game auctions at conventions, or put a classified ad in a gaming magazine. Many magazines will put "items wanted" ads from gamers for practically nothing.]

Note: It is very difficult to publish a solo adventure with jumbled paragraphs without making any errors! Our "errata sheet" for T&T solo adventures is located at the errata page.

Some websites claim to be official sellers or publishers of Tunnels and Trolls materials, but there are some out there who are indeed not. So in the public interest, here are sites that are selling new and out of print T&T products that we of the Trollish Fellowship endorse! We’ll be updating this list as we go. Are you supposed to be on this list? Do you sell authorized T&T Products or regularly report T&T News? Let us know and we’ll add you to the list mailto:rick@flyingbuffalo.com
