Monster Rating of 10. After you kill it, your sword is covered with slime. Take one turn to clean it off. (This removes any remaining poison you may have on your blade also).
Roll once to see if another wandering monster appears while you are cleaning your weapon. If one does appear, roll a die again to see if the slimy weapon slips out of your grasp. A roll of 1 or 2 means you drop your weapon, and you must fight the monster with your bare hands (one die plus your personal adds) on the second combat turn. Each subsequent combat round, make a first level saving roll on your dexterity to see whether you are able to pick up your weapon.
If this is not an "exit monster" instead of fighting you may try to run away.
